Adafruit WICED WiFi Feather - Developer Edition

The Adafruit WICED Feather is their most powerful Feather so far (as of November 16). It packs a huge amount of power into a small board with a 120 MHz processor and WiFi core, it is perfect for your next internet connected project.

The WICED Feather is based on Cypress WICED platform (Wireless Internet Connectivity for Embedded Devices). Supports TLS 1.2 to access sites and web services safely and securely.

Supported by the Arduino IDE using the standard libraries (Wire, SPI, etc.), compile locally, and the device is flashed directly from the IDE over USB. No need to rely on any online or closed toolsets to build, flash or run your code. There are some built-in libraries in the WiFi core, such as TCP client and Server, HTTP client and server, and MQTT client (with easy Adafruit IO interfacing) or Amazon AWS IoT! The WICED Feather is a great board to help you get your TCP/IP-based project started without sacrificing flexibility or security.

There is a connector for 3.7 V Lithium polymer batteries and built-in battery charging circuit which you can use to measure and monitor battery levels. Lithium Polymer battery and USB cable not included.
