MG Chemicals 8481 Carbon Conductive Greases

MG Chemicals 8481 carbon conductive grease has been designed to lubricate and improve your electrical connections between sliding surfaces and parts. The conductive grease has a synthetic oil base, is stable and can act as a gasket in your EMI shielding applications.
The 8481 grease is similar to the 846 grease but 8481 is silicone free and contains more corrosion inhibitors.

Features and Benefits

• Improves electrical connections between irregular or pitted surfaces
• Ensures electrical contact between loose or vibrating parts
• Prevents arching, pitting, hotspots, and welds
• Strong corrosion resistance, withstands over 300 hours of salt fog exposure
• Does not separate under temperature cycling
• Safe on plastics
• Silicone Free

Typical Applications

• Non-moving surfaces conductivity improvement
• Moving surfaces conductivity improvement
• Components lubrication
• Corrosion protection

Conductive Greases

Conductive greases are insulators and contain some fine powdered metals. They are designed to lubricate and maintain electrical and thermal conductivity while providing protection against moisture and corrosion. They are ideal for surface-to-surface, fixed or sliding, contact areas requiring lubrication while maintaining electrical continuity.
Do not use Conductive greases in electrical connectors with multiple terminals. Only use the greases in connections that are well-isolated from connections with differing voltages, and never in high-voltage connections.
