On Semiconductor NCP7800 positive voltage regulator is a fixed output regulator that is applied in various applications in electronic productions such as power supplies, on board post regulation, it can also be used in Industrial and consumer applications. The robust linear voltage IC comes complete with thermal shutdown and internal current limiting as well as safe area compensation. The voltage regulator can achieve 1A current outputs with a suitable heat sink and these devices offer enhanced ESD protection.
