The STA680 is a system-on-chip for demodulating and decoding HD Radio™ signals. The STA680 is an HD-radio base-band processor for car-radio applications.

IBOC (In-Band On-Channel) digital audio broadcast signal decoding for AM/FM hybrid and all-digital modes
Supports both HD 1.0 single-channel and dual-channel HD 1.5 applications
HD codec (HDC) audio decompression
Metadata support for HD Radio reception
MPS (main program service), SPS (supplemental program service) & PAD (program associated data) data decoding
Supports Conditional access (CA), Apple ID3 tag, Multicasting, Electronic program guide (EPG), Real-time traffic, Audio time shifting
I²S serial audio interface
I²C and SPI serial interfaces
Secondary RF base-band interface for dual tuner applications
Core power supply: +1.14 to +1.26Vdc
I/O power supply: +3.14 to +2.46Vdc
Operating temperature range: -40 to +85°C
