TE Connectivity Quick Lock Shielded Metal Backshells

From TE Connectivity, a range of superior quality full metal D-Sub hoods for use with D-sub miniature connectors. The robust Quick Lock back shells feature a unique squeeze to release mechanism supporting effortless assembly and installation. Retro-fitting to existing systems is also easily achieved with the use of Quick Lock pins. Hoods are available with two strain relief options, crimp for harsh environments and Extreme vibration and screw strain relief quick cable preparation. With their three cable exit options and 360° EMI/EMC shielding, the all metal hoods are ideal for use in EN50155 systems.

For crimp strain relief, a suitably sized Crimp Flange and Crimp Barrel are required. Selection would depend on the O/D of cable used. Refer to data sheet for size calculations.
• Large crimp flange, see typical part number 139-1547 for range of sizes
• Small crimp flange, see typical part number 139-1556 for range of sizes
• Crimp barrels, see typical part number 139-1564 for range of sizes
For screw strain relief, a suitably sized cable clamp is required. Selection would depend on the O/D of the cable used. Refer to data sheet for size calculations.
