Introducing the RS PRO digital On /Off temperature controllers. These digital devices are the ideal temperature control solution for applications that require a specific temperature to be maintained. The compact devices can be easily installed on a DIN rail, providing a high-quality and reliable temperature control system that is easy to use.
The RS PRO temperature controller features heating and cooling functions, offering versatility suitable for a range of applications. The adjustable temperature off-set and on/off feature of the temperature controller ensures the device will switch on or off automatically to reach the setpoint temperature or prevent it from exceeding.
Why use an On /Off Temperature Controller?
Used for monitoring purposes in heating environments, on-off temperature controllers prevent rapid increases in temperature that could cause damage. These controllers are often used where there isn't a need for precision temperature control, but where a system is unable to handle continuous interruptions. A typical example of an on-off controller is a thermostat in a system, if the temperature drops below the pre-set level the system is switched on. They can protect against a system of over-heating or over-cooling and have an 'on' 'off' option with no middle state.
