Camloc Stop and Stay Gas Struts

From Camloc, a range of gas struts that are reliable, robust and simple to fit. The Stop and Stay struts are self-contained and maintenance free. Once fitted, smooth fingertip control allows the springs to manoeuvred into the desired position. A lock-nut at the end of the piston rod is twisted (about half a turn) to suit the weight of the application. The struts are supplied as a pair with pre-fitted ball joint end fittings and optional eye end fittings. Except 14-28 sizes, these are supplied with just ball and socket end fittings.

Gas Struts or Gas Springs are usually referred to by their size coding. The most popular are; 6-15, 8-18, 10-23 and 14-28. The smaller number relating to the piston rod diameter and the larger number relating to the springs over all diameter of the tube.
