Product details
Inductance to Digital Converters, Texas Instruments
Texas Instruments Inductive Sensing is a contact-less, short-range sensing technology that enables high-resolution sensing of conductive targets in the presence of dust, dirt, oil and moisture making it extremely reliable in hostile environments. Using a coil or spring as a sensor, the inductance-to-digital converter provides system designers a way to achieve high performance and reliability.
Inductive sensing technology allows precise measurement of proximity sensing, lateral/angular position, displacement, lateral position, compression, vibration, and metal composition detection. Applications include drive-by-wire systems, gear-tooth counting, flow meters, push-button switches, etc.
Magnet-Free Operation
Sub-Micron Precision
Adjustable Sensing Range (via Coil Design)
