Product Details
This sensor actuator cable connects field sensors and actuators within industrial control systems, providing a 24V Interface for automation equipment. It features an M12 female connector at one end and an unterminated free end at the other, supplied as a 10 m black PVC-sheathed lead. The cable is intended for safety-related installations where adherence to recognised functional-safety criteria is required.
It has eight individual contacts, enabling separate power and multiple signal lines to be carried within a single Multicore lead for organised wiring of complex sensor arrays.
The cable is specified to meet high-level safety categories and standards such as category 4 and PL e, which align with demanding safety architectures in machinery safety design.
The construction and IP40 rating make it appropriate for protected indoor environments such as control rooms and machine enclosures rather than exposed external installations.
The free end permits bespoke termination to Terminal blocks, custom connectors, or direct soldering, allowing adaptation to specific panel layouts and connection schemes.
Unused ports on the Tina 4A and 8A must be blanked by using a Tina 1A blanking plug.
