This controller shield is the Adafruit PN532 breakout board which has been remastered into the perfect shield. A great tool for any 13.56MHz RFID or NFC application. The Adafruit NFC shield uses the PN532 chip-set and is what is embedded in almost every phone or device that does NFC. This particular model is highly reliable and excellent quality.

This board/chip uses I2C 7-bit address 0x48
