Eaton Non-Fused Switch Disconnectors - P1 Series Isolators

The P1 series of switch disconnectors from Eaton are compact and robust. This range of isolator switches is suitable for use in applications where there is a need to manually power down and disconnect electrical equipment for servicing and maintenance by cutting the power supply to isolated parts of the circuit. These disconnect switches can also be used as safety switches.

With an IP65 degree of protection, the devices are suited to hard-wearing industrial environments with a rated uninterrupted current of up to 32 A. Available in four different mounting options (surface mounting, flush mounting, rear mounting, and service distribution board mounting). These switches can be selected and configured in a multitude of contact sequences.

With the metal extension shaft accessories, the P1 switches can be mounted in electrical cabinets of up to 600 mm deep and with several Handle and Shaft options a solution can be found for every application.

• Performs local isolation, manual override & safety switch functions
• P1 Series fit a standard front plate of 45 x 45 mm
• For spare rotary thumb stick (black) see stock no. 176-9759

What is the difference between a fused switch disconnector and a non-fused switch disconnector?

Unlike fused switch disconnectors, a non-fuse isolator switch does not use a fuse to break or put a circuit into isolation, they instead use a rotary switch or knife-blade disconnect to isolate and de-energise a circuit. Commonly used in industrial automation and control settings.
