High performing electronic torque wrenches from Facom which are supplied in a plastic foam tray storage box. This precision tool is easy to use and has a self-test and reset when switched on and gives electronic precision in torque tightening. This wrench is accurate to ±2% ±1digit and the USB connection allows storage of 250 results which can be saved and downloaded. It features visual (LEDs) and once the torque is reached in operation an audible beep is indicated. These tools work from an electric sensor and can sense how much twisting force is applied and shows this by a digital LED display. These electronic (also known as digital) torque wrenches are becoming the preferred choice for engineers as they offer great performance and accuracy and are ideal for any workshop and laboratory. Calibrated versions are available.
Torque wrenches are tools used to prevent over-tightening when fastening locking nuts and bolts and are an important hand tool to have in your tool kit. These precision tools allow fasteners to be tightened to the correct tension thus avoiding damage from over-tightening or joints coming apart from under tightening. They are used for accurate torque settings which is important for safety, assembly and performance of equipment. Torque wrenches need to be calibrated regularly so that they are giving accurate readings.
The E.306 range includes the following electronic torque wrenches from Facom with various torque ranges (Nm) and end fittings:
722-7142 - 1/4 in Square Drive, 1.5 to 30Nm, 9 x 12mm
