The Martindale socket tester is a state-of-the-art device with a current rating of 13AC and detecting voltage ranging between 200VACand 250VAC. It is a fast and easy way to test sockets. When plugged into a live socket, three neons light up indicating correct wiring, whilst one or more neon failing to light indicates wiring errors.
Caution:
This product is not suitable for testing sockets that are supplied via an isolating transformer.
