Martindale Voltage Indicator and Proving Unit Kit MARVT25/PD

Before carrying out any maintenance or repairs on electrical equipment it is essential that all the circuitry is isolated and safe to work on. Electricians, engineers, and technicians must be safe in the knowledge that all checks have been made, in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations.

The Martindale VT25/PD kit is a CAT IV 600V and 1000v CATIII approved kit that complies with BS EN61243-3. The electrical test kit comprises of the VT/25 voltage indicator and the PD690 proving unit. Supplied in the TC70 combination soft carry case with convenient neck strap, the quality kit ensures your electrical test equipment is always at hand, ready to use.

VT25 Voltage indicator

Compact and lightweight, the Martindale two-pole VT25 voltage indicator is designed for use on AC or DC systems. The voltage indicator uses bright LED’s to clearly display voltages ranging from 12V to 690V. In addition, the voltage tester also can check continuity, phase rotation testing and single-pole voltage detection. With double insulated cable and removable probe caps, the VT25 voltage indicator complies with the health and safety recommendations for safe working. The ideal tool for conducting safe isolation procedures.

A built-in bright white LED torch also provides extra light when used dark or low light conditions.

The Martindale PD690 is a proving device rated to 700 Volts. Tough and lightweight, the battery-powered unit enables voltage indicators to be fully checked in compliance with the latest Health and Safety recommendations. The proving unit is compatible with all Martindale voltage indicators including the VI-15000 and VI13800 models. In addition, this device is suitable for proving any two-pole testers with LCD or LED indication, illuminating LED’s up to 690V.
