The Renold SD simplex roller chain is a steel type connecting link. This chain link is designed for heavy-duty construction machinery. It has two connecting pins riveted onto an outer plate. The clearance fit connecting plate is secured by a spring clip that snaps into the grooves of the protruding pins. This product has fail-safe to ensure optimum efficiency and the safety of the machinerys operators. The chain has better wear resistance due to its large bearing area.

Pitch size varies between 4 mm to 114.3 mm, with the chain links having a large pin diameter. The chains therefore have better wear resistance due to the bearing area being of a greater size.
