If you need tight, secure packing or soft and durable insulation, this RS PRO white rubber sponge sheet is easily cut into any shape.
The silicone rubber sheet creates an air- and watertight seal, because its closed-cell structure prevents liquids and gases from passing through. It also boasts UV and ozone resistance and retains its properties in a range of temperatures from -60°C to +200°C. That makes it suitable for a variety of harsh environments. The rubber sheet also has a low compression rate, returning to its original shape after pressing or deforming. In addition, it's a useful soundproofing layer, as it reduces vibration and noise.
This silicone rubber sheet makes a softer, more flexible alternative to standard rubber when you need a versatile and effective insulation material. Silicone rubber sponge sheets like these are frequently used in packaging, to hold valuable components securely in place.
