RS PRO Automotive Fuse Kit

Introducing the RS PRO mains fuse kit. A comprehensive kit that’s offers a range of fast-acting fuses that protect from a range of current flows. Within the kit is a well-thought-out selection of fuses along with a fuse tester and a fuse holder. The presentation box has clearly marked contents in the form of a chart inside the lid and each item stored in individual compartments.

What is a fuse?

A fuse is a thin piece of metal that protects the electrical circuit. If electricity flows more than the fuse is designed to coup with the fuse heats up and breaks. The open gap in the circuit stops the flow of electricity and prevents expensive components from breaking.

Fuse checker

The fuse checker contained within the kit tests whether the fuse has ’blown’. It is suitable for both mains fuses, miniature fuses and BS88 industrial fuses. The fuse checkers’ LED will illuminate if the fuse is functional.

• The fuse checker requires one PP3 battery

Fuse Holder

The screw cap fuse holder is rated to 13A and is fully touch proof to IEC 257.
