These nylon made thermoplastic hinges are highly durable, rust and impact resistant. They feature a stainless steel pin and are finished in matte black colour. Available in the sizes:
702-7831 - 64mm x 64mm x 13mm
702-7838 - 48mm x 48mm x 10.5mm
Features and Benefits:
• Matt Black finish
• Steel pin
• 6mm C'sk fixing holes
• Resistant to greases, oils and most chemicals
Why use thermoplastic hinges?
They don’t rust – plastic is corrosion proof
Less friction – opening and closing hinges generates friction and plastic hinges generates less friction than other metal hinges
Cost effective – usually cheaper to produce and purchase than metal hinges
What are Butt hinges?
Butt hinges are also known as leaf hinges and are ideal for flush mounted doors. The screws are concealed which prevents external access to the hinge.
