RS PRO RTD Extension Cable – 4 core, PFA, 5m

Introducing the range of RS PRO Platinum Resistance thermometer extension cables, ideal for use as a general-purpose extension wire and can be used to extend 2, 3 or 4 wire RTD configurations, this cable also comes in a 6 core variation that can be used to extend 2 x 3 wire duplex (dual element) configurations. The material of this extension cable offers high flexibility and is waterproof.
Most commonly used with the Pt100Ω thermometers but also suitable with other types such as Pt130, Pt500 & Pt1000Ω.
This extension cable has 4 cores, extruded PFA Teflon® insulated with 7/0.2mm tin plated copper conductors. The cores are twisted with polyester tape and nylon cord followed by a tin plated copper conductors twisted together with PFA insulated outer jacket. The silicone rubber material of the jacket offers heat resistance to 260°C has good electrical and mechanical properties, highly flexible, resistant to oils, acids and other adverse fluids.
The cores are colour coded with 2 x Red and 2 x White with a black outer jacket and are supplied in 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 metre reel lengths. The 6 core option comes in 25 and 50 metre reels.
