What is an offset screwdriver?

• An offset screwdriver (also known as a right-angle screwdriver) is a type of hand tool used to drive screws to secure a fixture. An offset screwdriver features two ends at right angles to the shaft, allowing them to be used with screws in tight spaces. The angle also helps to improve torque in areas where space is limited, making them a very versatile screwdriver.

What is a Phillips tip for?

• A Phillips screwdriver tip is used to tighten and loosen cross head type screws in a variety of tasks and applications. They feature a cross type tip to easily slot into a Phillips head screw and allow torque. The rounded edges of a Phillips tip enable the head to cam-out of the screw if too much torque is applied.
