The TSX CTZ 1A (1 channel) and CTZ 2A (2 channel) half-format counter modules have on their front panels:

A - One high density 15 way Sub-D connector per channel to connect:

Incremental encoder or counter sensor
Encoder power supply
Encoder power supply feedback to check encoder is correctly connected and supplied

B - 20 way HE10 connector to connect:

Auxiliary inputs: Pre-selection, counter-enable and read
Power supplies for auxiliary inputs, sensors and incremental encoders
