Product details

Si7005 USB Dongle Evaluation Board

The Si7005USB-Dongle Evaluation Kit provides quick and easy access to the features and functions of the Si7005 sensor as well as enabling evaluation of the sensor’s performance. It is a highly-integrated device incorporating humidity and temperature sensors, signal conditioning circuitry, an A-D converter, control logic and the I2C bus interface.
In many applications, the system designer will use the Si7005 to sense the temperature of the air around it, and not that of the system PCB. One of the aims of the evaluation board layout (which includes a degree of thermal isolation between the Si7005 and the main circuitry) is to demonstrate the concept of thermal isolation between the Si7005 and the system board.

USB connector to PC
I2C serial bus connector for external Si7005
Windows XP, VISTA, or Windows 7 required
