TE Connectivity Positive Lock MK II 250 Series Receptacle Housings
Positive Lock MK II 250 series housings for use with Positive Lock MK II 250 series crimp receptacle terminals. These Positive Lock MK II connector housings provide insulation to the receptacles and feature internal locking ramps which help provide a secure connection. A latch on the receptacle engages with a ramp in the connector housing and prevents disconnection when the wire is pulled. The Positive Lock receptacle housing also acts as a removal tool. When the housing is pulled back the ramped housing wall pushes down the latch on the receptacle causing the mated tab to become unlocked.
Features and Benefits
Provides insulation to terminals
Internal locking ramps for secure connection
Enables easy unmating of receptacle and tab
UL 94V-0 nylon
Product Application Information
Positive Lock MK II 250 series crimp terminals and housings were originally designed to meet requirements of automobile products but are also ideal for use in applications where strong vibration and mechanical strain are present.
