Phoenix Contact Power COMBICON PCB Connectors - 7.62mm
These COMBICON connectors from Phoenix contact are brilliant and greatly built PCB connectors. With a universal pitch of 7.62mm to support a huge variety of applications and a screw connection method for a strong and reliable connection, these connectors easily allow you to connect a cable-to-board. Phoenix connections are well-known worldwide so you will easily be able to design these connectors into any design thanks to the connection technologies known design. Not to mention, integrated double steel springs provide additional safety in the event of temperature and power fluctuations, however, having a low-temperature rise thanks to its maximum contact force means this is just a backup safety feature.
Housings are made from a strong and durable green polyamide material with the contacts being Cu (Copper) alloy. All PC connectors in this series feature a 7.62mm, a current rating of 20 A, a cross-section of 4mm² and have a different amount of positions.
Features and benefits:
- Double steel spring provides extra safety - preventing temperature and power fluctuations
- Allows connection of two conductors
- Low-temperature rise, thanks to its maximum contact force
- Worldwise use thanks to the connection technology
- Screw connection - reliable hold onto your cable for optimum system reliability
- PCB Connectors make it effortless connecting to wires to a PCB
Applications:
The PC COMBICON connectors can be used in the below applications, however, are not limited to:
- Instrumentation
- Control and measurement
- Industrial electronics
- Control wiring
How much wire jacket should I strip?
Phoenix Contact recommends you strip 7mm of wire jacket & any armour for these PCB connectors. Once your cable has been stripped to an appropriate length exposing the bare metal, simply push-in your cable and lock it down with the M3 screw.
