PILZ P2HZ X1, Two Hand Monitoring, Type IIIC

The P2HZ X1 series of Safety Relays by PILZ offer you affordable and reliable feedback control loops, specifically designed to handle the monitoring of your external relays or contactors.

Features and benefits

• Specially designed for two handed control/operation. The P2HZ series will not function unless the operator has their hands outside the danger zone area during hazardous movement.
• LED indicator for switching your channel status from 1 to 2 and also to monitor your supply voltage
• Single or Dual channel input operation (Single channel are used more beneficially with smaller type machines where you need to use a dedicated logic device that only has a small function to cut off in an emergency – Dual allows you to take control of more safety circuits and control a greater amount of control zones at any given time)
• Reactivation: The outputs will no re-energise unless both operator elements have been released and then re-operated simultaneously.
• Suitable for DIN rail mounting
• Durable and has an extended service life vs. competitors

Safety features

• The relay will provide the circuit self-monitoring.
• The safety functions of the device remain in effect even in the case of component failures.
• The relay will prevent the circuit from further press strokes in the case of, relay failures, contact welding, coil defects or open/short circuits.
